Can you even believe living as you would usually live then all of a sudden something happens and everyone leaves town. What would you do? How would you do it? What would it be like to have no mortgage on your properly/house/condo and then just have to up and leave? Well here are 5 modern abandoned cities.

Beichuan, China, in May 2008, following an earthquake that killed more than 50,000 people. The city may be rebuilt elsewhere, leaving the original version abandoned.

Another City is: Prypiat, Ukraine, it was evacuated after the 1986 Chernobyl power plant explosion.

Humberstone and Santa Laura, Chile, was closed down since there were in a recessive economy which didn’t every come back.

The next one isn’t really the actually city but part of the city of Detroit, Michigan. The different parts of Detroit, Michigan is all junk cause of the decline in the auto industry. Because they don’t make the kine cars that people want to purchase, the are seeing a decline in sales.

The next location is: Hashima Island, Japan. Its vacant because: In January 1974, with petroleum supplanting coal as the world’s preferred energy source, Mitsubishi revealed the mine would be closed. By the following April, the last of the island’s residents were ferried onto the mainland, and the island was permanently closed.

And Finally the last place is: Centralia, Penn. In 1962 the trash workers who were burning trash accidentally lit a vein of anthracite coal, part of the vast deposit that lay beneath the town. That then caused the whole town to burn to the ground.

So I was just surfing the internet and I found a article about how people can now purchase flying cars. I cannot believe that this would actually be possible in our lifetime…but I guess its not as fancy as you would think from the science fiction movies. But here is the link:

Hello Everyone!

I finally figured maybe I should do something with my web-space so here I am.  I used WordPress before but I don’t recall it being this fancy looking (the interface to create the website).  It was actually pretty simple setting it up except that I wasn’t sure what it meant when it said that I needed to input my MySQL information.  I thought I could just make up something and it would work…but it didn’t.  I needed to go in to 1and1.com my service provider and create a new MySQL account.  So now everything seems to be working correctly.  I needed to play around with getting the advertisements to work but after changing some HTML coding around…it seems to be working fine.

I will try my best to update this website when I have new interesting information.
